My action research plan will be based on Intermediate (7th & 8th grade) level. My question is: How will the use of Web 2.0 technology tools such as Google Earth in a foreign language classroom (LOTE) affect student learning? Three LOTE teachers will be involved in the study and we will use various Web 2.0 tools for communication. I have several variables: the first teacher is at a 1:1 campus; the second teacher has used technology in her classroom, but not Web 2.0 tools, the third (myself) has had no technology nor the use of Web 2.0 tools in classroom instruction. I think this will render some interesting data.
