I am working on a "wondering" statement about professional development for our administrators that will impact the integration of technology on our campuses. The skills of our principals varies and I believe that this has an impact on our progress towards integration. But, I need data, so I'm very interested in researching this topic to confirm my beliefs.

I will also be looking at finding ways to improve professional development and the use of technology at my campus. My research question is, how can I use the currently available technology in my school as teaching tools that will encourage, inspire, integrate, and involve all students and teachers by using solid research and valid student and teacher input to create an educational, fun experience for all learners and teachers?

I am working to implement staff development options using online tools. How does the process of web based online staff development help teachers continue to learn and grow, and in what role can the technology leaders play a role in facilitating this process. Using our new eChalk system how can we use the power of this tool to increase staff development from just attending regular meetings but to include additional alternatives.
