Here is my topic: How can I Help teachers at NBHS meet “advanced” in the key areas of “Teaching and Learning” and “Educator Preparation and Development” on the 2009-2010 Texas Campus STaR Chart.

Here is my action-research topic: "Are teachers more willing to integrate Web 2.0 technologies into curricula once they've seen how Web 2.0 technologies fulfill school and classroom management needs?"

I think I'm in the right spot. Everyone else seems confused too!
My topic is:
In what ways can I, as an Elementary School Technology Coordinator, assist the staff in improving their technological proficiency so that they will feel more comfortable sharing that knowledge with the students?
I've looked at the other two groups. One has one post and the other none. So this is where I'll stay until told otherwise.
My topic continues to evolve. Initially I wanted to figure out how to improve student scores on standardized tests using technology but the challenge that I am facing is that my staff is very aprehensive about using the technology to help our students. My focus has changed somewhat as a result. How can I help my staff help our students?
I came across a survey that was completed by our district that looks really good, until I looked at the numbers. It was completed in 2009 and only eight teachers from my site completed the survey. Based on this, I'm concerned about the validity of the survey and whether it is an accurate representation of my staff. I need to mention that following this survey, our school went through district reorganization and at least three of the most technologically proficient staff members changed schools.
Unless I am totally mistaken, the only ones that completed the survey were those that checked their emails. The rest of my staff is still intimidated by the email system.
If I use the data that the district is offering, I think I am preaching to the choir. The people that complete online surveys arent the ones I need to reach. It's the ones that are intimdiated by the process, that didnt complete the survey that I need to help.
I've been looking and reading and I had the impression that links to our blogs were going to be listed here, however, after reading, it appears that isn't the case but I would like to share my blog with all of you here because they do sound somewhat related to mine.

I would welcome any comments, encouragement, suggestions that you might have to help me with my quest to improve technology support and training for the administration, teachers, staff and students of my district.
I am working on a "wondering" statement about professional development for our administrators that will impact the integration of technology on our campuses. The skills of our principals varies and I believe that this has an impact on our progress towards integration. But, I need data, so I'm very interested in researching this topic to confirm my beliefs. I've reposted my statement to this blog, since there are three blogs that cover professional development. Just wanted to check in!
How are you all planning to sample the professional development benefits in your schools? I am at a AAAA school in west Texas with 1/3 of staff being teacher/coaches and nearly all teachers have extra duties.
I am trying to determine a proper sample size without leaving out teachers with true interest in technology-based professional development. However, I am also trying to think realistically since I coach the debate team, and travel often.
"How can online professional development prepare a staff for Differentiated Instruction Site visits" As a campus, we were "chosen" for this, so now we are looking at ways to help staff prepare. All the staff participants will be volunteering and doing the majority of the prep. work in their own time. All feedback is appreciated
With the lack of enthusiasm for staff development and the refusal to use technology in the classroom, I want to prove that offering staff development through an online learning community will increase participation, increase communication and collaboration amongst teachers and increase technology use in the classroom.
Action Research Question(s)/Problem Statement: With the implementation of the one-to-one technology initiative a year out, in what ways can teacher professional development best be facilitated so teachers will not fear the change and develop new technology rich lessons?
Hello, not entirely sure which group I should participate in. Please see my blog! Comments and suggestions are welcome!
